About, Kaine
Kaine Nicholas is an accomplished financial professional with more than 15 years of entrepreneurial and financial experience. Today, Kaine is the managing director of ABLE Consulting, a management consulting organization rooted in community and impact economics that unapologetically provides pathways to capital with Fortune 500 and Wall Street expertise to the underserved.
Throughout his career, he has focused on creating substantive community impact and has continually sought opportunities to use his unique skills to improve the quality of life for his community. After working in global finance for several years at professional services firms such as: E*TRADE, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business, J.P. Morgan, and others, he started ABLE Consulting, LLC, which helped drive vision and growth for corporations ranging from $10 million to $500 million.
During the global pandemic, as the Black Cooperative Investment Fund (BCIF)’s first executive director, Mr. Nicholas was identified as a leading voice in building a critical mass movement of change based on cooperative economics, wealth building, and fiscal imperatives in California. Prior to BCIF, Kaine led the National Asian American Coalition (NAAC)
Kaine holds an MBA from Babson College for global entrepreneurship and received a B.S. in economics & finance from Bentley University. Mr. Nicholas is a Riordan Fellow at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a certificate holder for board/executive leadership from the USC Cecil Murray Institute for Community Engagement and the African-American Board Leadership Institute (AABLI). He currently leads the Board of Trustees of the Coalition for Engaged Education, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that serves youth communities that have been negatively affected by the justice system.
Kaine enjoys finding time to career mentor and teach finance and entrepreneurship to young kids and teenagers.

We will meet at a non-profit, experience the feel of its business side, have lunch, have a Q&A session (personality, responsibility, personal goal setting, etc.). Optional writing session.
