About, Megan
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, specifically a suburban part south of LA. Since I was young I always enjoyed dancing in different styles such as hula and hip hop.
Now I primarily focus on aerial arts and gogo dance professionally for festivals and private establishments.
I first found my love for the aerial arts in 2018 when I took my first hammock class after not dancing for about 8 years. It reignited my passion for the dance arts but in a new perspective and I haven’t stopped since.
I am also an aerial instructor and love helping other new aerialists grow to achieve their goals by providing a space for people to express themselves in class.
What this experience is about
Agenda for the day
Aerial apparatuses: hammock, lyra, silks
Meet + greet: We will start the day by getting to know one another and any specific goals you have. Even if the goal is just to have fun trying something new!
Deep stretch + warm-up: For 1 hour we engage in deep stretch and conditioning to warm up our bodies and loosen our muscles. This will help increase flexibility and stamina while on the apparatus.
First apparatus: We will get acquainted with the first aerial apparatus by going over foundations and theory then implement them in the air. A mini-sequence is taught and learned by any level.
Snack break
Second apparatus: We will now move on to the second aerial apparatus. Same format as the previous one except for a new apparatus
***We will have a moment at the end of each lesson to take photos and videos**
Cooldown: At the end, we will cool down with meditation and light stretches!
